1939 Bar to the Iron Cross 2nd Class w/ribbon and pinback, silver finish

If a recipient of the 1939 Iron Cross had been decorated with one or both classes of the Iron cross of World War I, they would then receive a silver clasp showing the National Eagle with the year 1939. The clasp to the Iron Cross 2nd class would be worn attached to a ribbon in the button hole. The 1939 1st Class clasp would be worn attached to the tunic above the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class.
