The German 1939 Grand Cross of the Iron Cross of WWII from Reddick Militaria was the highest award of the Iron Cross and was awarded only to Hermann Goering, who received it for the success of the Luftwaffe in the Battle of France. Introduced on September 1, 1939, it was patterned after its predecessors of 1870 and 1914. Die struck with nice details, it features a black painted center with a frosted silver frame and is furnished complete with 1 length of WWII pattern ribbon in red, black and white.
