We are extremely pleased, as the exclusive distributor for the successors to the Robert Lubstein ("Erel") factory to offer the finest quality "Schirmmutzen", made by this  well-known, original WWII German manufacturer. Only the finest quality materials available and original, Third Reich specifications are used to provide the very best examples for your collection or impression.

All caps feature genuine black Vulkanfiber visors with proper reddish brown or cream undersides, rayon satin linings, wool or velvet cap bands, genuine bullion chin cords or genuine leather chinstraps with correct hardware, and pebbled aluminum or black enamel buttons, as appropriate for officers or other ranks. Tops are made of high quality doeskin or Trikot (gabardine) wool (SS, Army & Luftwaffe) or cotton twill (Kriegsmarine). All caps include correct, highly detailed insignia.

Our private purchase caps (all but Allemeine SS) include premier cap maker Rober Lubstein's double "EREL" markings on the sweatshields and on the wide, genuine leather sweatbands, and in addition feature the unique, 2-color paper tags used on their "Sonderklasse" caps during WWII.

NOTE: Unfortunately, due to German labor problems with hand sewing, availability of these caps is limited at this time. For caps that are not in stock, delivery times can be as long as 6 months. We try to keep stock on the most popular sizes, but please be aware of ongoing delays in delivery.
