German Gold Rider's Badge

The German Horseman's Badge (Das Deutsche Reitterabzeichen) also known as the German Equestrian Badge, was a sports decoration of the Weimar Republic and Nazi Germany. The gold badge had an oval Oak leaf wreath, and within the wreath was a mounted horseman astride a prancing horse with a Roman "R" letter in a circle at the base of the wreath.
Our die-struck badge is highly detailed, even down to the maker markings on the reverse: "Steinhauer & Lück - Lüdescheid" and "Ges.Gesch.Zentral.Kom.F.Leistrungspr.W.U.Kaltel-P". Attachment is the round type pin seen on many originals.
