Description
The National Sports badge was first introduced in 1937 by the German National Physical Training Union (DRL). Criteria for the award was achievement of above average proficiency in gymnastics. These high quality medals are die-struck, with a round pin and marked with the maker "Hensler-Pforzheim" and "D.R.G.M.3 5269"
The bronze class badge features the initials ‘DRL’ within a wreath, which is completed by a large swastika in relief at its base with a beautiful antique bronze finish.
