Third Reich German Order 3rd Class

The German Order was introduced in 1942 as the highest decoration of the NSDAP and was awarded to such personalities as Reichsminister Dr. Fritz Todt and SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich. This magnificent award consists of a gold cross with black enameling outlined with gold oak leaves, separated by gold party eagles, and the enameled NSDAP party badge affixed at the center. Our vaulted, 3rd Class version of this impressive piece is fitted with a wide pin and die struck lettering, "Munchen 9", on the reverse.
