WWII Edelweiss Cap Insignia – Antique Finish

Reddick Militaria now offers the German WWII type Edelweiss Cap Insignia in an antique blackened finish exactly like the original example in our collection. Faithfully reproduced, this has the correct straight stem of the World War II style insignia with brass center and two flat pins for attachment. It also has 4 holes to allow for sewing it on, which was a common method of attaching it to the M-43 Cap.

The larger Edelweiss emblem was extremely popular for wear on the M-43 ‘Bergmutze’ ski cap. It was commonly sewn on through the 4 holes, but 2 prongs allow for pinned attachment if preferred (40mm x 57mm).
We also offer this same item in a "like-new", frosted aluminum finish, Edelweiss Cap Insignia. The hard-to-find, small size is one of only 3 insignias authorized for wear on the visor cap and is correctly made in two pieces with 2 pins for attachment (26mm x 32mm).  Edelweiss for Visor Caps
