WWII German Feldgendarmerie Armband - Cotton

The German Third Reich Feldgendarmerie Armband was worn by military police (field police) personnel of the Army and Waffen-SS. It features machine embroidered lettering in gold thread on a green cotton band with a row of reinforced stitching along the top and bottom edges and joined in back with a machined stitched vertical seam.

Accurately printed and period correct, Reddick Militaria's armbands are copied directly from original Third Reich pieces and feature correctly styled lettering in the proper colors. They are printed on high quality, heavy cotton fabric of the correct color and are approximately 4" wide.

The Army mobilization order of March 12, 1937 required wear of this armband by all Field Police (military police) units as part of the Ordnungsdienste. In July of 1942 the armband was replaced by replaced by the Field Police cuff title.
