US WW2 First Aid Pouch - Light OD #3

Reddick Militaria's US WW2 First Aid Pouch is made of heavy cotton canvas in Lt. OD, our pouch is exactly like the WWII issue, fitted with the correct "lift-the-dot" snap closure. An integral belt hook attaches the pouch to the standard web pistol belt. Marked U.S. on the front with maker mark "Boyle 1942" on the reverse.

Original U.S. World War II first aid pouchs were issued to soldiers for carrying a personal field dressing. Made from durable OD#3 (early war) or OD#7 (later war) canvas, the pouch features a flap cover secured by a "lift-the-dot" snap fastener and a belt hook or loop for attachment to standard issue web belts or suspenders.

Stamped with “U.S.” on the front and often marked with the manufacturer and date inside the flap, the pouch was designed to hold the Carlisle Model First Aid Dressing. Compact and rugged, this pouch was standard gear for infantrymen and paratroopers throughout the war, and remains a classic piece of WWII U.S. military field equipment.
