Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge w/pinback, gold finish/blackened

German Reproduction Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge with pinback.  This is a very nice, highly detailed two-piece badge with the eagle finished in matt gold and the wreath in matt silver. Die struck with correct type round pin for Luftwaffe badges. Maker marked BNL for the firm of Berg & Nolte of Ludenscheid.

The parachute qualification award was also issued to Waffen SS paratroop formations in addition to Luftwaffe Fallschimjaeger troops.
