Description

These excellent quality repros are the very best available and have quality details! Genuine wood grip feature a nicely detailed silver eagle & SA rune button. The high quality steel blade is deeply acid etched like the originals, with the SA motto, "Alles for Deutschland" on the obverse a either the Boker "art deco" maker or an RZM maker mark on the reverse. Crossguards are nickel plated and the steel scabbards feature brown enameling with nickel plated fittings.

An awesome reprodction

I acquired this piece along with the SS chain dagger and I will state that it is of the same great quality as that of the chain dagger. This one came with the Boker makers mark. The rune is nicely inset with more of a dark orange enameling rather than red or black. The detail on the silver eagle is intricate. The nickel plated fittings are beautiful and look solid. Lastly, the blade is nicely engraved and, although not real sharp, it could take and hold a razor edge if so desired. These daggers do come well oiled, maybe too well oiled, be careful upon opening.
