Reproduction German WWII Army Close Combat Badge in Bronze.
The Close Combat Badge was authorized on November 25, 1942 by Adolf Hitler in recognition of those who fought the enemy hand-to-hand and also as an inspiration to fulfill one's duty. The Close Combat Badge is awarded in three grades: 1st grade (Bronze) 15 close combat days; 2nd grade (Silver) 30 close combat days; 3rd grade (Gold) 50 close combat days.
