Reddick Militaria's reproduction of the US WWII M3 1911 Shoulder Holster for 1911-A1 .45 Colt Automatic Pistol is high quality holster copied from a  original WWII issue example. Produced in high quality, vegetable tanned leather, drum dyed in medium brown color. Made like the originals for a snug fit, they require molding to your pistol, which can be done dry or by wet forming with either neats foot or mink oil. Adopted in 1942, this holster was standard issue for aircraft and tank crews, but quickly became popular with paratroopers and infantrymen as well as officers.  Marked with large embossed "US".
