SS-Order Castle Wewelsburg Visitation Badge

Visitation or "Day" badge for the SS-Order Castle at Wewelsburg

This enamel badge commemorates Wewelsburg Castle which Himmler intended to be the 'Grail Castle' of the SS. The castle was, amongst other things, the repository for the SS Honor rings that belonged to the deceased or fallen SS members. Finished in antique silver plate with black enamel and a safety pin style pin back.
