Description
Small Axes like this were carried by many Eastern Longhunters and were popular from the French and Indian War period up through the early 19th century. Our hand-forged head, with it's typical flat hammer poll and oblong eye, is 4-1/2" long with a 2" blade, making it a handy camp tool as well as a formidable weapon that was often carried on the belt or attached to this shooting bag. Furnished with a 14" long straight-grained hickory handle.
