Reddick Militaria's Third Reich Knight's Cross of the War Merit Cross in Gold with Swords is die-struck and features sharp details with very nice, frosted gold finish. It is complete with suspension loop and the proper red, white and black neck ribbon. This decoration was given for merit in the military direction of war other than battle, or for bravery other than in the front line. For ease of putting these on, the KVK Neck Cross often had narrow black ribbon ties attached to the wider neck ribbon. Sometimes a hook and eye closure was added as well.
