M44 Waffen SS Single Button Cap, EREL

The model M-44 "Einheitsfeldmütze", with single button closure, was a favorite of Waffen SS troops and our caps are made in Germany using original Erel patterns from WWII. We use fine quality, 100% wool in the proper field grey shade, correct type cardboard visor inserts, Reece keyhole buttonholes, and authentic style buttons. Typically, these have the earlier style, pebbled metal buttons painted to match the cap, as shown in the photo, but occasionally we have the cost saving, 4-hole plastic buttons that were used later in the war. Gray cotton linings are stamped with the Erel war-time maker mark, size and date.
