1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class w/ribbon, silver finish/blackened

1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class from Reddick Militaria has a silver finish with blackened center and is complete with the correct red, black & white ribbon. This is an excellent quality reproduction. 

Reconstituted by Adolf Hitler in 1939 the Iron Cross grades were changed and the Imperial Crown and "W" emblems were removed and being replaced with the swastika. The ribbon was changed to include a central red stripe with white and black edges.

With this change to the swastika insignia, the First Class Iron Cross remained a pin-backed breast badge, and the addition of the Knights Cross brought four grades with three additional suspension devices.
