Luftwaffe 1st Model Officer’s Dagger

The German World War 2 Luftwaffe Officer’s 1st Model Dagger was introduced in 1934/1935. Issued to all Air Force officers, it featured fittings made from the “new” metal, aluminum, with a leather covered grip and scabbard. Our replica of this early period Nazi dagger has a 12” steel blade with antique silver finished crossguard and pommel and black, spiral grip. Measuring 19” in overall length, it is complete with a black scabbard, chain hanger and clip, or “karabinerhaken”. Economically priced, this dagger is an nice display piece and a good filler if you need one for your collection.
