Description

The German WWII 1936 Model SS Officer Chain Dagger from Reddick Militaria is the finest, deluxe replica ever offered! It is produced exclusively for Reddick Militaria, using original parts as the model, and featuring correctly made SS Runes and Skull chain pieces, center ramp fitting, and snap clip with clover leaf fitting. The steel scabbad is painted black, which is correct for the 1936 model. The fit and finish of these daggers is near perfect, with the High Carbon Steel blade with the SS motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue", acid etched on the obverse, and correct back which has no maker mark. The black grip is genuine wood with the grip eagle and SS rune button perfectly inset. All fittings are nickel silver and will not flake or chip as some plated models eventually do. Many of the reproductions today are slightly undersized, but we had this one made to the original Third Reich size. This very fine repro of the rare, expensive, and highly desirable SS Chain Dagger will fill a void in even the most advanced dagger collection. Overall length 14-1/2”.

Finally! An Affordable Chained SS Dagger that is Worth Owning!

I've Searched and Waited a Long Time to find a Chained SS Dagger that would actually hold up when displayed with a collection original WWII German Daggers and this one is it! This is an extremely well-made dagger. The size and shape is the closest to original that I've seen, and other than looking brand new from the factory, it looks great even when compared directly with my original Carl Eickhorn 1933 SA Dagger. I'm particularly pleased with the very convincing Type-1 chain fittings. So happy to finally be able to display a Chained SS in my collection.

High Quality Presentation Dagger

I received this dagger today and I will say, I am stunned with the attention to detail and the quality of the materials used to recreate this masterpiece. Germany produced quality militaria, and this piece does not disappoint when it comes to matching the materials used and to the precision fit and finish of this iconic dagger. This piece is delightfully pleasing to the eye and to the touch. The sheath firmly engulfs the blade like a glove and you can feel the retention spring gently glide over the engraved blade. The chain perfectly suspends this piece at the desired angle which will enhance its presentation in a display case or if used for reenactments. If you are looking for a pristine example of the real thing, this piece fits the bill.
