Adolf Hitler Bust standing 18" Tall

Several years ago, we discovered a rare example of an original 1933 plaster bust of Adolf Hitler, made by his favorite sculptor, Walther Wolff, and have meticulously reproduced it in fine detail. Featuring an excellent hand-rubbed, bronze finish over heavy plaster, and made here in our shop. Much, much larger than our popular Adolf Hitler Bust on Marble, it stands a full 18” tall and will make the perfect center piece for your WWII display!

Our original copy of the bust was molded in plaster from Wolff’s latex mold of the complete sculpture. In this rare example, you can see the clay base that the artist used to stabilize the clay sculpture while he worked on it. He then created a latex mold which was utilized in making the wax copies for the bronze castings. These bronze busts were distributed to many official Nazi headquarters throughout Germany, but only a few survived the war.

Amazingly, the original example was found in New Jersey, and how it found its way to the United States is open to speculation. It also shows the cut line on the neck of the sculpture which would eliminate the base from the bronze casting, and is signed by Wolff.
